Biography

Eugene Racz brings a broad legal background to the KG Law Group. A former municipal court prosecutor serving numerous towns through Ocean and Monmouth County, Racz also worked as a criminal defense attorney, making hundreds of appearances throughout the state in nearly 300 different municipal courts with a focus in traffic law, DUI-DWI matters and low-level drug offenses. 

Racz also served as Deputy Ethics Counsel at the Office of Attorney Ethics where he presented cases before the Disciplinary Review Board and the New Jersey Supreme Court to impose discipline on attorneys engaging in professional misconduct. He served as a Regulatory Officer (attorney) at the Office of the State Comptroller where he prosecuted waste fraud and abuse in the New Jersey Medicaid program through the Office of Administrative Law. Racz has experience in family law, having represented clients in divorce proceedings as well relocation and FRO hearings.

Before embarking on his legal career in both the public and private sectors, Racz completed a judicial clerkship with two Superior Court judges at the Middlesex County Courthouse – Criminal Division. 

He is co-author of “Bury My Heart at Cooperstown.” (Triumph Books, 2006)
